Pioneer High School Opens New Building Next to CCHS

Pioneer High School celebrated the official opening of its new building with an official ribbon cutting. Thanks to our partners Prineville Chamber for hosting the event!

The 9,500sf building is located next to the CCHS campus. It offers six classrooms dedicated to core classes, Career & Technical Education, credit recovery, counseling services, a GED testing center, and a kitchen. Students and staff officially moved on December 5th, and the response to the new facility has been overwhelmingly positive.

The project’s estimated cost is $4.1 million – paid for by Congress during COVID through the Elementary & Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER). Landscaping will be completed this spring through a local contractor and our student work crew program.
